From Fred McClain....
'Not Perfect But Workable' was a phrase that the Lord placed on my heart many years ago. However, it wasn't until one day when my wife was looking through some of my writings that she came across the phrase 'not perfect but workable' and immediately knew that God wanted to do something with this phrase. Through prayer the Lord gave her the vision of a Potter working the clay.
Isaiah 64:8 reads, But now, Oh Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our Potter; we are all the work of Your hand.
We are not perfect, but we serve a perfect God and as long as we stay in his hands, HE will perfect those things which concerns us. This ministry is to help as many people as possible come into the knowledge of this truth and is based on the Word of God with the understanding that the Holy Spirit will lead us, guide us, and bring us into all Truth.
We know that nothing is too hard for God. All we have to do is be that piece of clay and allow God to put his hands on us to shape our lives into his likeness - to be Christ like.
Saying you are a Christian is one thing but wanting to follow Jesus is where true freedom lies.
We all have a responsibility to do what is needed to get people saved, but it doesn't stop there - being saved is only the beginning of the molding and shaping process.
Not Perfect But Workable is a ministry that believes in a hands on approach through the ministering of the word of God, prayer, fasting, deliverance and discipleship because we all have to get our hands a little dirty sometimes for kingdom building.
Picture a lump of clay that represents a life with no direction or purpose. This piece of clay isn't made to hold anything except for the values of this world. Therefore, it has no capacity to contain the depth of God's truth. While man may see wayward lumps of clay, God sees the limitless potential inside everyone one of us little balls of clay. This compels Him to cry out with a message towards fallen man that says, "Let Me pick you up out of your mess. Let Me shape you into a cup so that you can hold the true essence of life which is in Me."
Becoming workable is powerful when you give your life to Jesus because your perspective on life changes and you are now striving to live a life that pleases Him. When you are workable there is hope, transformation and the promise of meeting the Potter face to face when it is your time to leave this life.
We are here to help you to become all that God has ordained you to be. Remember this truth: We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
We love you and God bless you.
